Note: Always under construction!! <LOL>  This is a page in progress as I look for my old notes, photos, etc... to make sure the information is as close to correct as possible.  Most of this is from memory and we all know as time progresses, our memories become intertwined.  If you know me and find something out of place, please drop me an email and bring it to my attention. It is my goal to have all my notes as accurate as possible.

I was born in Houston, Texas December 3, 1955 (send presents! <wink>).  My mother, Frances Beck, was from Pickens County in Alabama and my father from Seal, Texas (closest town was Mejia, Texas).  My mother had a band playing in Houston and hired my father to play steel guitar in her band.  She had been told by doctors she could never have children but my father had rare blood and RH negative blood which happened to be the only type compatible with her.  I was the first of 3 all born in Houston, Texas.

Eventually, my mother wanted to return to Alabama so around 1962 we relocated to Huntsville, Alabama.  My dad had landed a job with the space division of Chrysler who had contracts with NASA and Redstone Arsenal.  We moved around several times in my youth and I went to several schools in Huntsville, then in the county before we spent a year in Tennessee then back to New Hope, Alabama where I graduated.

In high school, I started working in broadcasting at WGSV in Guntersville, AL.  Right after high school, while going to college, I started playing music in a band in a Huntsville night club.  I spent most of my life doing both (see sections on my broadcasting days and my band days).  It was when Elvis died that I discovered a magazine that opened my eyes to some alternate lifestyle fun and games.  I later realized it had been in me from around the 2nd grade but never knew about it.  If you are interested, I will share a little here but to know more details, you will have to email me as I do not want to offend anyone on this web site.

I eventually retired from music and radio work, although I still miss parts of it especially broadcasting.  I worked a while for an electronics company doing tech support and some cell phone repair while doing real estate photography and print layouts for The Real Estate Book.  I moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1999 then in 2001 to the metro Washington, DC area of Maryland where I became a licensed Realtor® which brings us up to date.  Oh, if you know anyone interested in buying or selling in the Metro DC area, keep me in mind!  Other information along the way can be found on the other pages of the web site.
