Welcome to the life and times of yours truly and my little biographical web site. I am slowly working on the site and setting it up, it's just a side line hobby so please be patient and will most likely always be a work in progress (and under construction). I hope to share images, audio from my days in the various bands and on the road, my radio days, as well as some of my personal ups and downs. You may are may not be interested, but I'm putting the type of things on here that I would be interested in reading about and seeing from my fellow friends, acquaintances and schoolmates.

I have been blessed with a great life of good times, a few bad times but mostly great memories. A few things I would or should have done differently, but that is part of life and learning to better ourselves. I have been blessed with many great friends and acquaintances and have experienced many of the things in life I have desired, some I would never do again, some I can't wait to do again!! <hehehe>

I Finally spent a little time updating and adding some pages, there is a navigation bar at the top of the page with some links on each individual page. Again, these are all being worked on when I have time and I will place a date of last update on each page so you can tell if it's been changed.

Medical Issues

I have been meaning to work on this some but schedules for work and such have kept me busy, however; I did want to update a little on the latest event in my life.

2006 has been a hard year in general. Having lost my mother less than a year after my father passed. It took a while to get back to focus on work and day to day things, I was very close to my mother.

Then, the first medical issues I have ever had, at least since being an infant and an occasional accident (chain saw on the leg), occurred the last part of October 2006. I am not sure what caused it, the doctor said nothing I did caused it, nothing I could have done that really could have prevented it, it was just bad luck. There are precautions everyone can take for some occurrences, but some people just have the bacteria already... it's the Strep bacteria that causes Strep Throat only if it's in the skin areas, it eats the skin away. Mine started out looking like a little bug bite, then a boil, then worse.

What is it called? The medical name is Necrotizing Fasciitis and it's nick name is "Flesh Eating" Bacteria/Disease. It is not contagious, although the bacteria can be spread I'm told.

How is it treated? Debridement.... this is where they surgically remove the layers of infected skin and tissues. I now have a whole going down to my muscle tissues on the back of my shoulder. The size is around 10cm which is just biger than a cd-rom disk and just smaller than an old 45 rpm record.

I will try to update the healing of this wound here but admit I may be slow to do so. I have taken a photo of the wound just a few days after coming home from the hospital. (THIS IS NOT FOR THOSE WITH A WEAK STOMACH OR WHO ARE FAINT OF HEART- IMAGES OF MY OPEN WOUND: SMALL IMAGE HERE / LARGER IMAGE HERE! The healing witll be "from the inside" so it will stay open. Skin graphs may also be done.

I will update this as soon as I have a little more time. Some may know my nick name is trigger. My friends in Texas have set up a "trigger emergency medical relief fund" to help raise money to cover the cost of the medical bills (no insurance). Every little bit helps, I will post that information here as soon as I have the details.
