Price Mitchell and Harold Shedd at one of our yearly "Picker's Reunion" that we used to have in Huntsville. At one time, Huntsville had more bands and night clubs per capita than any city in the nation. There were a lot of musiciansn and music that came from this area. Earl Thomas Conley, Nelson Larkin (Producer), Milton Sledge (drummer) & Mike Chapman (bass) who played on all of Garth Brooks Albums, Larry Byrom (Stepenwolf), etc.... many, many, many more! If you recall the Hank Williams, Jr song "Stoned at the jukebox", you'll know he was talking about this particular club. He used to come to The Carousel and sit in with the band. We partied pretty heavy and I remember him saying something one night about being stoned at the jukebox... a year later, the song was on the radio.
